Unneutered Dogs / Bitches

We can accept unneutered bitches, but we do not recommend they stay with us if they are expected to be in season at any point during their stay. You must sign a separate disclaimer accepting full responsibility if an unplanned mating occurs during their stay with us. We can accept entire male dogs, provided they are happy to live with other entire males and they are well mannered.

Aggressive Dogs / Banned Breeds

We are a family home, and the safety of our children and the dogs in our care is our highest priority. Our children are used to dogs and are familiar with their ways. However, we are unable to accept any dogs which have aggressive tendencies, or which are included in the BSL Banned Dog Types list in England. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know before your dog stays with us.

Contagious Diseases

For the safety of our dogs and our guests, we cannot accept dogs which are suffering with any known contagious or zoonotic disease, or parasites. We also cannot accept rescue dogs from abroad unless vaccinated against Brucella Canis Disease.

License

We are licensed with Horsham District Council, and are fully insured with Petplan Sanctuary. Our license details are on display at our home, and you can also request full details from us.
